► Caorle: The pearl of the Adriatic in the center of the routes
For yachtsmen Caorle is in a very privileged position. It is placed exactly in the middle of the Northern Adriatic sea, midway between Venice and Trieste, and first of all it is a very good starting point to Croatia, 12 miles far away. Two outer breakwaters allow the access in port with any weather condition, offering safety, elsewhere inexistent.
Reach the Darsena of the Orologio by sailing up the Livenza for about half a mile, then enter the mouth of the Orologio channel, once past the waterlight doors put there for offering the settlement an hydraulic safety, and go to the reception where you will be welcomed by a clever and friendly staff.
The Orologio channel is situated along the waterway of Veneto and connects Venice to Trieste. The Orologio and Revedoli’s inner channels can be travelled over with any weather condition towards Venice; the same you can reach the beautiful lagoon of Caorle sailing through the Orologio and Palangon and you can go on even to Monfalcone.
